I found one paid product that worked, but the company discontinued the service.
For a time, Google offered a free service that worked most of the time, but it discontinued it several years ago. Despite claims from some products that they can achieve reliable bidirectional syncing, most of them don't. I've been testing both free and paid solutions to this problem for several years. I could duplicate my personal calendar events onto my work calendar, making them "private," but that's frankly just not a good idea - and most companies frown on it. Do I need to leave work right at 5:00 to ferry a child to soccer practice? If so, don't set up that 4:30 meeting. I frequently need to be able to see both my work calendar and my personal calendars side-by-side, so I can check for conflicts. Here's my real-world need: My wife and I maintain Google calendars for various purposes, but one primary calendar is the family calendar that keeps track of school events, appointments, practices, exams and so on for our children and ourselves. But changes you make with Outlook will not be reflected in your Google calendars.
Changes made in Google Calendar, for example, may update in Outlook. The problem many users face is syncing those calendars for updates, especially bidirectionally. The Outlook client can open several types of calendars, and it does an excellent job of displaying an overlay view of multiple calendars.

Note that this will not sync both the services and any new events you add to the Outlook app won’t appear in Google Calendar. Now you can use Google Calendar for all your day planning, events, reminders, etc.
This freely available sync tool allows you to sync your calendars.Bi-directional Sync between Google Cal and OutlookĬouple of more advanced solutions that you might want to try if you are an advanced user:
Note: Support for Internet Calendars is still not available as of Outlook 2019 for MAC OS X.
In this case, changes made in Outlook won’t be reflected in Google Calendar. Outlook becomes the one-stop solution to access your meetings/appointments entries but you can continue to update your Google Calendar as you see fit, as those will be synced into Outlook. In the left column, click My calendars to expand it, click the arrow button next to the calendar that you want to import into Outlook, and then click Calendar Settings. The more trivial integration option is a one direction sync between Outlook and Google Calendar. Give your iCloud calendar a name and wait for automatic syncing to be completed. Choose import from the internet and insert the URL you copied in step 1. You will be presented with different import options. So without further ado, let’s get started. Find and click the Add Calendar feature at the top.
